Wax figures

I grew up sculpting with my hands. Perhaps because my mom was a professional potter, or because I had lots of bees wax to work with at a Waldorf school; in any case I still love to make little figures with my hands. The ones pictured here are the results of idle hands in design meetings.

When my teams and I are talking through design problems I sometimes grab some wax and let my fingers sculpt.

Most of the time the only wax I could find was babybel cheese wax. Most of the figures here are made from a single cheese case. This means not very much wax material and thus each one is pretty small.
